New Years

As if we hadn't been busy enough, we decided to hit the road Thursday and spend New Years in Long Beach.  Wayne, Jaylin, and Piper met up with us Thursday night, and Marilyn and Jim joined us Friday night.  It was a relaxing time full of reading, a little golf, and late nights playing games.

On new years eve we told Soph she could stay up to watch the ball drop (the real midnight, not just the east coast midnight).  She was quite the trooper and had fun playing Mexican train dominoes and watching Taylor Swift preform on TV.  She made it to midnight, and even fought us a little when it was time to go to bed.  She wanted to keep partying!
