Washington D.C.

Matt and I got to go on a mini vaca to Washington D.C. to see a friend get married.  A whole bunch of us flew out on the red eye Thursday night, so we had all day Friday to sight see.  Friday night was the rehearsal dinner, and Saturday was the wedding.  It may have been the most amazing wedding I've been to.  The reception was at the Daughters of the American Revolution, with the most amazing backdrop out on the front porch area (which was were the pre reception was and dancing after dinner).  Sunday and Monday was more sightseeing, then we were home Monday night.  We could not have asked for better weather, which made the cherry blossom and magnolia trees absolutely stunning.  I've decided I love destination weddings (this was the second one we've been to.  The first was amazing too).

There is a "walking post" in front of the tomb 24 hours a day (they change guards every 30 min.)
