Wellstock 2014

Our 2nd annual Wellstock happened this weekend.  We had a blast camping on our friend's farm, eating delicious dinners cooked by Matt (100% over the fire!), playing soccer and volleyball, staying up way too late by the campfire, and searching out adorable baby tiny kittens.
Kelsey found 2 different litters of baby kittens in one of the barns on the property.  We went and visited them each night.  We were only able to catch one of the kitties, but each kid loved getting a turn holding her.

Oh Lincoln

Buddy boy all snuggled up in front of the fire

One of the dinners cooked by Matt.  He jimmy rigged this rotisserie over the fire to cook some of the meat.  I think this was pork for the street tacos.

Riley, Sophia, and Baylie

We had off and on showers all of Saturday.  This was Matt rescuing Lincoln during one of those showers

And this was the aftermath

Checking out the sheep
(they are the only animals on this farm.  They just got them to keep the grass short under the solar panels)

Besties

Lincoln loved all the tractors, gators, and diggers around the farm

The kids were so excited that they got the fire started with the hot coals, sticks, and pine cones

and then they played in it for 2 hours, making the tips of their sticks smoke (I know, parent of the year award for all of us.  But hey, they were having a blast!)

We called it tent city (bad quality, but I had to stitch 3 photos together)

Part of the crew (we had about 30 or 35 people this year.  Some came for the day, some came for a night, and some had just left before we took the picture)
