1st birthday

Because of being so busy with getting the house sold I didn't get a birthday party planned for Lincoln.  We kept him busy on his big day with a lot of fun stuff though...

The Sunday before his actual birthday Grandma Marilyn and Papa Jim gave Buddy Boy his present early.  He's been having fun with his new motorcycle.

His big day started out with a HUGE delivery from Grandma Susie.  He loved his big balloon!

After school we took Lincoln to Burgerville for cheeseburgers, a timber joey milkshake, and more balloons.  With more time to kill we went over to PetSmart and checked out the animals.  He gets so excited with the kitties and doggies.

When we got home he got his birthday present from Mommy and Daddy, a ball pit full of balls, and his present from Sophia, a lady bug bubble machine.

He loves his new ball pit!

Sophia had T ball practice so after that we took Lincoln out for frozen yogurt.  He made a sour face at first, but then he pointed at it and said, "nom, nom, nom!" for some more.

Friday after his birthday we had both of our families over for dinner and cupcakes

Though he wasn't too sure about the cupcake at first, once he got some bites he definitely enjoyed it!

After Lincoln had opened his presents, Sophia got up and read this sweet, sweet note she had made for him. "Dear Lincoln, I love you with all my heart."
