Finding the perfect name...

Choosing a name for our little guy was quite the difficult decision, a girl name seemed to come easier for us this time.  Before we found out Lincoln was a boy, we decided we liked the name Reagan for a little girl.  It wasn't a for sure name (in my mind names are never a for sure thing until the baby is born, and it's written on the birth certificate).  But then we found out our new baby was going to be a boy.  One of the reasons Matt liked Reagan was because of President Reagan, so thinking along those lines, he started thinking about the name Lincoln, after Abraham Lincoln. He didn't suggest the name to me until he received an email from a local artist he follows, Lincoln Crockett.  I liked it so we asked Sophia her opinion on the name, and from that point on no other name satisfied her.  She made signs with Lincoln on them and taped them all over his room, drew pictures of our family and called the baby Lincoln in them, and would tell people that's what we were naming him.  Now that he's here, I think it's perfect. :)
